STUDIES
1985 - 1987

Aprenticeship as a production thrower, Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany.

  1987 - 1990

Three Dimensional Design/Ceramics (BNAA) and highly commended in Photography, Camberwell College of Arts, London, UK.

  1991 - 1992

Post graduate diploma in Art Therapy, Hertford University, St. Albans, UK.


PROFESSIONAL CURRICULUM

  1993 - 1994 Ceramic designer at DRS Ceramica, Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
  1994 Opens her studio / gallery "art and design in ceramics" in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
  1996 Founder of the ceramics workshop at L'Atelier, Ceentro Integral de las Artes, Merida Yuc. Mexico.
  1997 "art and design in ceramics" studio moves to Cholul, Yucatan, where Katrin works, exhibits and teaches permanently.
  1998 - 1999   Teaches ceramics as part of the Product Design career, Modelo University, Merida,Yuc., Mexico.
